Compliance Training
Compliance training educates employees on legal obligations, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies — protecting both the organisation and its people.
Full Definition
Compliance training is formal instruction designed to ensure that employees understand and adhere to laws, regulations, and internal policies relevant to their role. It covers a wide spectrum: workplace safety, data protection, anti-harassment, financial regulations, industry-specific standards, and corporate ethics.
Unlike skills training, compliance training has a risk mitigation mandate. Regulators and courts increasingly expect demonstrable evidence that training was delivered and completed — making robust tracking through an LMS essential, not optional.
Effective compliance training goes beyond 'click-through' modules. It must demonstrably change behaviour — which requires scenario-based learning, realistic consequence models, and spaced-repetition reinforcement rather than a single annual course.
Aktrea's compliance portfolio covers POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), ethics, information security, and EHS — all designed to the standard required by legal and regulatory frameworks, not just internal sign-off.
